Privacy Policy
This privacy policy explains what information Cloud Cert Notes collects when you visit cloudcertnotes.com, how that information is used, and the choices you have. The policy was last updated in November 2026. Cloud Cert Notes is a study-notes website; we do not sell products, we do not operate user accounts, and we never sell personal information.
Information we collect
When you simply read pages on this site, we collect the technical information your browser sends with every web request — your IP address, browser type, device information, and the pages you view — through our analytics provider, Google Analytics, which uses cookies to distinguish visitors and measure how the site is used in aggregate. If you write to us through the contact form, we receive the name, email address and message you choose to send, and we use them only to reply to you. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13, and the site is not directed at them.
How we use information
Analytics data is used to understand which notes are read, which pages need improvement, and how visitors find the site. Contact-form messages are used to answer questions and to correct errors readers report. If advertising is enabled on the site in future, advertising partners may use cookies to measure ad performance, as described in the cookies section below. We do not use your information for any other purpose, and we do not combine it with data from other sources to build profiles.
Cookies
This site uses cookies from Google Analytics to measure traffic. Advertising cookies may be set if and when advertising runs on the site; where required by law, ads will be served in a non-personalised form unless you consent otherwise. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time; the notes remain fully readable with cookies blocked. Most browsers also offer a Do Not Track setting, which we honour where our providers support it.
Sharing and retention
We share data only with the service providers who help us operate the site — hosting, analytics, and any future advertising partner — and only the data each needs to do its job. We may disclose information if required by law. Analytics records are retained in aggregate form; contact emails are kept only as long as needed to handle the conversation and any correction it leads to. You may ask us, via the contact page, what personal information we hold about you and ask for its deletion, and we will respond within a reasonable period.
Data security and policy changes
We protect the small amount of personal information we hold — chiefly contact-form messages — with access limited to the editorial team and transport encryption on the site. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we collect so little that the exposure is minimal by design: reading this site requires no account, no password, and no payment details, and we ask you never to send us credentials, ID documents, or exam vouchers through the contact form. If this policy changes materially, we will update this page and move its 'last updated' date; continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
